I want to make a fast, driven tune loosely derived from "Toccata and Fugue in D minor" by J.S. Bach. I'm calling it Electric Dreams because I know the Bach piece from a 1984 movie by that name (it was the piece which a computer plays in duet with the female love interest).
The Village's code has just been upgraded so that MIDI links will play in the browser in small pop-up windows if your browser supports JavaScript. Otherwise, they will play on their own blank page, provided you have a browser plugin that plays MIDI content. All are still be able to right-click(or control-click) a MIDI link to save the file to their local machine. Please use the feedback link to report any problems with the Village infrastructure. Ever since the performance of this piece (in a brass quintet arrangement) in 1998 I have had the idea that it should be lengthened in the back of my head. Perhaps it could be theme music for a TV show on insects... The score says Creepily and I think we should continue it in that mood.
